In theatrical news, reports filtering out of England have long-time British oddball-rocker Robyn Hitchcock collaborating with MTV mogul Bill Flannigan on a stage musical based on Magnum Force, the second film in Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry series.
Of the movie, Hitchcock notes, “It’s taken a very strange hold on my life.” If it’s a success, will the “Eastwood Musical” become a franchise?
Coming in 2011 — Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Gran Torino.
