Sometimes (well, most of the time it seems) it takes a study to authenticate a conclusion we could come up with on our own.

For example, earlier this year a European study discovered that an hour of exercise every day would help teens beat the effects of an obesity-related gene nicknamed “fatso.” Really? Exercise equals better health? Thanks, doc.

This time around, it’s magic mushrooms.
